India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) today reported over four-fold jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 8.26 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 1.66 crore for the October-December period of the previous financial year, ITDC said in a BSE filing.
Its net sales during the quarter under review increased by 25.97 per cent to Rs 143.50 crore as against Rs 113.91 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Total expenses of the company were up 25.36 per cent to Rs 135.60 crore as against Rs 108.16 crore.
Shares of ITDC were trading at Rs 420.50 on BSE, down 0.40 per cent from previous close.
