The first three ITF Men's Futures USD 10,0000 will be held at Mandya (May 28 to June 3), Mysore (June 4 to June 10) and Bangalore (June 11 to june 17), All India Tennis Association (AITA) Vice President Karti Chidambaram told reporters here.
The next two Futures will be held at Bidar (September 10 to September 16) and Gulbarga (September 17 to October 14), he said.
The next three ITF Futures will be held at Davanagere (October 15 to October 21), Dharwad (October 22 to October 28) and Belgaum (October 29 to December 2), Chidambaram said.
The last two ITF Women's USD 10,000 will be held at Manipal (December 3 to December 9) and Mangalore/Shimoga (December 10 onwards), Chidambaram said.
Indian players would not benefit from ATP tournaments as only one Indian Somdev Devvarman gets a chance to play in them, Chidambaram said.
"Indian players will not benefit from ATP tournaments. While we are proud to showcase an ATP tournament, we would like to have tournaments benefitting our players. So it is important to have Futures," he said. More
