This was stated by Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar at a high-level meeting yesterday, an official spokesman said.
The funds will cater to the construction of morning and evening courts, Lok Adalats, Legal Aid Clinics, Heritage court buildings, State Judicial Academy, Alternate Dispute Resolution Centres, Training of judicial officers, Public Prosecutors and Court Managers, the spokesman said.
The government is also creating 36 courts of special mobile magistrates as well as additional special magistrates for which Rs 32.61 crore stands earmarked, he said.
These courts are likely to become functional shortly and selection for court managers has been completed and their orders of appointment are likely to be issued by the high court, he added.
The 22 Alternate Dispute Resolution centres would also be established in the districts during the period 13th Finance Commission Award for which construction has been already being started in seven area centres, the spokesman said.
The State Judicial Academy would be completed by November this year, he added.
