Around 25 army jawans were injured today when the vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident on the Jammu Poonch national highway near bordering Rajouri district.
The army vehicle which was on a training exercise met with the accident near Kalsi in the Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
"Because of the bad road condition due to continuous rainfall in the areas, the driver lost the control and the vehicle fell in a gorge," a defense source said.
"Four of the seriously injured were evacuated to Udhampur command hospital for treatment whereas others received treatment at the local hospitals," he said.
