J-K: 51 members of divided families cross LoC in Poonch

As many as 51 members of families separated by the Line of Control today passed the crossing point between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir using the weekly bus service via Chakan-Da-Bagh in the district here.

While 33 persons crossed over to PoK from Jammu and Kashmir side, 18 journeyed to this side from PoK via the Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point, officials said.

From the Jammu and Kashmir side, 10 were freshers while the remaining 23 were PoK returnees who were going back after staying here with their relatives, they said.

From the PoK side, 16 were freshers while two were Indian returnees, they said.
 

Officials from both sides monitored the crossover exercise at Chakan-Da-Bagh, officials added.
