J-K Assembly condemns terrorist attack

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today condemned the terrorist attack on Rajbagh police station in Kathua district which left three security personnel and two militants dead and 11 others injured.

Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Kavinder Gupta on behalf of the entire House, condemned the incident asking the government to take measures to strengthen the security network and prevent such attacks.

He said the sympathies of the entire House are with the families of those who were martyred in the cowardly attack.

Condemning the act, Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh earlier gave details about the incident to the House.

He said the terrorist attacked the police station at 6:18 am. After killing the santry on duty, they entered the police station, he said.
 

He said the whole area has been cordoned off by the police and CRPF Jawans and the injured in the attack have been admitted to Kathua hospital.
