Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today met Governor N N Vohra and at Raj Bhawan here and discussed several legislative matters.
This was Gupta's first formal meeting with the Governor after being elected as the Speaker of J-K Legislative Assembly, an official spokesperson said.
The Governor and Gupta discussed several legislative matters and issues relating to the rapid socio-economic advancement of the state, the spokesperson said, adding Vohra wished Gupta high success in discharging his important constitutional role.
