Jammu and Kashmir Bank Chairman Parvez Ahmed today called on Governor N N Vohra and discussed various issues including initiatives taken by it to increase its services, particularly with a view to promote digital economy.
Ahmed informed the Governor about the recent initiatives taken by the Bank to enlarge its services by expanding the Bank's infrastructure, particularly with a view to promoting digital economy, a Raj Bhavan spokesman said.
Governor also discussed with the Chairman issues relating to the more effective use of its funds for advancing its Corporate Social Responsibility.
Also, providing targeted support to identified segments of the economy, particularly the craftsmen, weavers and artisans, farmers, horticulturists and entrepreneurs who have viable proposals to set up new ventures, it said.
