J&K BJP leader Poswal to hold anti-terror conference in Kota

Claiming that the Pakistan sponsored terrorists were forcing Gujjar community towards militancy, J&K BJP leader Eshfaq Ur-Rehman Poswal said today that he would organise a conference in Kota in next month seeking support against such designs.

Poswal was on Monday in Kota region to meet the Gujjar leaders and seek their support.

Pak sponsored terrorists and ISI in Jammu and Kashmir are creating a situation to force Gujjar community into militancy and this treat has intensified after the release of Hafiz Saeed, said Poswal.

He, however, added that the Gujjar community was patriotic and would never be a puppet in the hands of terrorists.
 

Poswal said he was garnering support from the Gujjar community across the country to counter the threat adding that he held an interaction with Gujjar leaders in Jhalawar on Sunday and met BJP MLA from Kota (North) Prahlad Gunjal.

Through the Anti terrorist conference, he wants convey to the Pak supported terrorists and ISI that the Gujjars in J&K are not alone but the Gujjar community from all the states of the country, including Rajasthan, are with them, Poswal said.

Poswal claimed he held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat last month and requested him build up a Gujjar regiment to take on Pak sponsored terrorism along the Line of Control (LoC).

Kashmiri Gujjar is a larger community in J&K that can counter terrorism, he said.
