State unit of the BJYM visited the

border area of Suchetgarh in Jammu and met villagers and security personnel deployed there.

BJYM state in-charge Ashok Singh Chouhan, who led the unit yesterday, assured the forces and the people that the nation was with them during crisis.

Calling for security at the borders, the unit criticised the UPA government for putting the internal and external security at "high risks".

The 'Sarhad Ko Pranam' tour to the Suchetgarh international border was organised under the BJYM's national programme 'Rashtra Raksha Abhiyan'.

The activists also collected soil which will be sent to BJP headquarters at New Delhi where a mega conference on national security will be organised on January 30, 2014.

Under the banner of 'Seema Suraksha Abhiyan', the state unit of BJYM will also organise a seminar to highlight the problems faced by people living near the border and discuss various internal and external threats to our country, another BJYM leader said.
