Jammu & Kashmir Governor NN Vohra today condoled the passing away of Hero MotoCorp patriarch and doyen of Indian two-wheeler industry Brijmohan Lall Munjal.
The Governor described him as a 'pioneering genius' who brought large scale industry to Punjab while sharing sympathies with Hero MotoCorp Chairman Pawan Munjal on the passing away of his father.
Vohra recalled his over 45-year long association with the founder of Hero Group and observed that Munjal was a man of high principles, ethical values and total commitment, the likes of which are not easily seen today.
Munjal passed away yesterday after a brief illness. He was 92.
