J-K Govt employees to hold state-wide demonstrations

"We will hold state-wide protest demonstrations on October 10 in support of our demands of policy on regularisation of daily wagers and removal of pay anomalies by the J-K Government by the end of September end," leader of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) of Employees Associations Gafoor Dar told reporters here.

Memorandums would be given to the district commissioners and tehsildars over the demands of the government employees, he said.

The strike call was given by the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) of employees and supported several Associations, federations and forum of government departments, PSUs and corporations.

JCC is demanding enhancement in age from 58 to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies, policy on regularisation of daily wagers and contractual employees and other demands.
