"We criticise the state government for its failure to solve problems faced by people. This regime has failed to bring transparency and accountability in the governance," PDP leader Peer Mohammad Hussain, said in a day-long convention of party worker in Kishtwar.

Legalising corruption and nepotism was the only noticeable achievement of the three and half year tenure of the coalition government, he said.

Hussain called for more efforts from party activists to make people aware about the "failures" of the state government.

Though people in the state are suffering due to poor water and power supply, the state government has completely ignored these issues, the NC leader said.

He held the poor policies of the state government responsible for the problems faced by people.
