"Several projects and public welfare schemes have been launched by the state government to improve the infrastructure in the neglected areas," J-K Relief and Rehabilitation minister Raman Bhalla said after laying the foundation stones of development works at Ashok Nagar area here.
Rs 2.33 crore have been sanctioned for the construction of 4-km Bathindi-Bermeei link road, he said adding, work on Sunjwan to Sainik Colony link road is under process.
The minister asked the officials to monitor the projects and ensure that they were completed within the stipulated time period.
