J-K govt modifies order on posting of official

The Jammu and Kashmir government has modified its order of posting an official, who was terminated from services by it last month, as a Deputy Director in Forest Protection Force, Bandipora.

The official, Mohammad Reyaz Anwar, was among 63 others dismissed from service by the state government last month.

The order to this effect was issued by Principal Secretary of Forest Department yesterday.

"The Forest Department has modified its Order No. 196-FST of 2015 dated 13-08-2015, wherein transfers/postings of 38 Forest Officers was ordered.

"In the modified Order No. 197-FST of 2015 dated 13-08-2015, the charge of the post of Deputy Director, Forest Protection Force, Bandipora has been assigned to Khursheed Maqbool Shah, Deputy Director, Forest Protection Force, Baramulla, instead of Mohammad Reyaz Anwar shown at serial Number 37 of the earlier order," an official spokesman said.
