Deputy Home Minister Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo gave the orders after visiting the injured at the GMC hospital here today.
He said the state government will ensure strict implementation of traffic rules and stern action will be taken against the violators.
The minister also asked hospital authorities to provide best possible treatment to the injured.
Meanwhile targeting the state government over yesterday's mishap, the BJP today said poor condition of roads, coupled with "inefficiency" of the traffic department to enforce relevant laws, was leading to frequent road accidents.
Party leader Jitendra Singh claimed most of the traffic personnel remain busy in ensuring smooth passage for VIP vehicles and the sensitive areas remain unmanned.
He said the traffic department was proving "incapable" in enforcing the laws.
State NCP Chief and Former Transport Minister Thakur Randhir Singh also expressed shock over yesterday's mishap and demanded cancellation of licenses of all the outdated buses that are still plying on roads.
