In a bid to provide medical services at the doorsteps of the farmers, the Jammu and Kashmir government will set up Mobile Plant Health (MPH) clinics in all the districts of Jammu division.
"The Mobile Plant Health clinics are being set up in all the districts of Jammu division to render diagnostic and surveillance services at doorsteps of the farmers," minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir told reporters here today.
Mir was here to inaugurate an awareness camp cum Kisan Mela organised by J&K State Kissan Advisory Board in collaboration with the Department of Agriculturte at RS Pura, 40 kms from here.
Such clinics are for facilities to provide surveillance against insects, pests and other diseases affecting the farms.
