J&K Guv, CM extend Holi greetings

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed today greeted the people on the eve of Holi and hoped that the festival of colours would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

In his message, the Governor observed that the celebration of festivals, an important part of our rich cultural heritage, strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity.

He hoped that this festival would spread happiness and joy all around and further promote harmony and brotherhood.

Wishing a happy Holi to the people, the Governor prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
 

Sayeed also extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Holi.

In a message, the Chief Minister expressed hope that the festival of colours brings peace, prosperity and strengthens our bonds of communal harmony and love for each other.
