"Lt Gen R Dastane, General Officer Commanding of 14 Corps, briefed them about the security situation in the area when they visited the army headquarters in Leh today," an official spokesman said.
The 14 Corps of the army is responsible for guarding a vast area and is the only formation that is tasked with keeping vigil on the Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC) along the Chinese territory.
Vohra and Omar were here to lay the foundation of the Leh Campus of Kashmir University.
