Northern Army command chief Lt Gen Devraj Anbu toady met Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra to discuss internal security management in the wake of the rising militancy-related incidents in the state, especially the terrorist attack on an Army camp at Nagrota here.
This was Lt Gen Anbu's first meeting with the Governor after taking charge of the Udhampur-based Northern command on December 02 succeeding Lt Gen D S Hooda.
The Governor and Anbu discussed certain important issues related to effective internal security management in the wake of the terrorist attack on an Army camp at Nagrota, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.

Lt Gen Devraj Anbu also briefed the Governor on the present security situation in the state, he said.
The Governor wished the General a very successful tenure, the spokesman added.
Two major terror attacks rocked Jammu region on November 29 in which seven army personnel, including a Major, were killed and eight other security men, including a BSF DIG, were injured.
