The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association here has decided to suspend work in the High Court and all subordinate courts tomorrow to protest against the reported shifting of AIIMS to Kashmir.
"The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu and all the subordinate courts, Tribunals have decided to suspend work on Monday to protest the decision of the government of shifting AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir," President, Bar association, Jammu, Advocate Abhinav Sharma said.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Bar council held in Jammu today.

The members of the association accused the Centre of "step-motherly" treatment to people of Jammu division.
It was stated in the meeting that while presenting General Budget, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had announced setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Jammu and proposed a total sum of Rs 2,206 crore for financial year 2015-16 for the purpose in five states, including Jammu and Kashmir.
"When the decision was taken to set up AIIMS in Jammu then how was it shifted to Kashmir," he said.
