While Kumar told the Governor about issues relating to internal security management in the state, Krishna briefed him about the overall security situation in the area of his responsibility, particularly along international border in Jammu region, an official spokesperson said.
The meetings assume significance in the backdrop of recent beheading of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control.
The Governor also discussed with Kumar issues relating to the new Police Act which is proposed to be enacted in the coming months.
