JAC - an organisation of state government employees - has organised a one-day 'Jammu challo' convention on November 29 at Guru Ravi Dass Sabha.
"The association fully endorses the one-day convention on breach of agreements, broader unity, united action and double standard approach adopted by the self-styled employee representatives," JKLADCSA vice-president Babu Hussain Malik said in a statement.
"It is unfortunate that the state government has not implemented the agreement and commitments made to employees, forcing them to launch agitations again," Malik said.
"The state government has done nothing to formulate a policy for the regularisation of casual, seasonal, daily rated workers and daily wagers over the decades," he said.
The association has invited employee representatives of all departments to participate in the convention, he said.
