Jammu and Kashmir may set up a command centre to observe the movement of transport vehicles carrying essential commodities in that state.
Jammu and Kashmir minister for civil supplies, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, today visited the command control centre in the Civil Supplies Bhavan here, an official release issued by the Telangana government said.
The J&K minister observed that such type of centre will also be established in his home state to Control diversion of PDS stock, it said.

The Minister saw live movement of trucks fitted with GPS devices transporting PDS stock.
He also saw performance of CCTVs installed at godowns in Hyderabad city on experimental basis, it said.
According to another release issued by the state government, Zulfkar Ali met Telangana minister for finance and civil supplies E Rajendar.
