A Jammu and Kashmir MLA today said he will stage an indefinite sit-in outside Parliament from July 21 to apprise MPs of the Kashmir issue.
"I am starting an indefinite, peaceful sit-in in front of Parliament from July 21. It will be a wake-up call for the parliamentarians, who claim they represent the world's largest democracy. I will go there to seek justice and will talk to them about the Kashmir issue," Independent MLA from north Kashmir's Langate constituency Sheikh Abdul Rashid said.
He said he would meet the ambassadors of various countries in New Delhi and urge them to persuade India to seek a "durable" resolution to the issue after a dialogue with all stakeholders.
