J&K, PoK officials discuss cross-LoC trade in meeting

The officials of the Jammu and Kashmir government and from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) today held meeting to discuss various issues related to cross- LoC trade.

The officials along with traders from both the sides met at Chakan-Da-Bagh LoC point in Poonch district and discussed various issues related to cross-LoC trade, district officials said.

Deputy Commissioner (Poonch) M H Malik, Senior Superintendent of Police J S Johar among others were in attendance at the meeting with PoK officials.

The officials discussed the issue of settlement of accounts of traders from the two sides as they had been complaining of pendency of trade money with their counterpart businessmen.
 

They also discussed issues relating setting up of banking facilities for cross-LoC traders and inclusion of some more items in the list of trade goods.
