To improve facilities for its personnel, Jammu and Kashmir Police is focusing on building infrastructure across the state, Director General of Police Ashok Prasad said today.
Activities to improve living and working atmosphere of the personnel are being carried out as part of police modernisation programme, he said inaugurating alternative accommodations for the personnel at different places in South Kashmir.
He said with additional responsibilities, there is an increased demand for upgrading the various facilities, more so at the working places.
Prasad inaugurated nine new five-storey buildings at Pulwama, Shopian, Kheribal-Mattan, Uranhall-Anantnag and Awantipur.
