The teaching staff, along with the Principal of a state-run school in Zainakote, have been transferred following frequent complaints of indiscipline and factionalism.

"Pursuant to frequent complaints of indiscipline and staff factionalism, all the teaching staff of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Zainakote, Srinagar, have been shunted out and a new Principal has joined the institution," Directorate of School Education Kashmir said on its official Facebook page.

The Department has decided to conduct "walk-in interview" of the in-service lecturers during the next week.

"We now invite applications from highly qualified in-service masters/lecturers with extraordinary CVs who are interested in getting posted at GHSS Zainakote Srinagar.

"They can face a walk-in interview at Directorate (of School Education) from December 28 to January 2," the Facebook post read.

The selected candidates will be handed posting orders on the spot, it added.
