Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today flagged off the Hatia-Ernakulam weekly express from Hatia station.
Addressing a gathering, Das suggested to name the train as Bhagawan Birsa Munda Express, which would enable the people in the South know about the freedom fighter, Birsa Munda, an official release said.
Introducing this train would help patients to visit Vellore for treatment, he said.
The Chief Minister said Jharkhand was the second most revenue generating state for the Railways and added, people should get better coaches and facilities and discussion had taken place with Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in this regard, the release said.
