Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said doctors and other medical staff should serve people in such a manner that people will remember them for long.

Das was speaking at the two-day mega camp on Cervical Cancer and Anaemia organised jointly by the state health department and Indian Medical Association, Jharkhand, at Barheit in Sahibganj district.

Appreciating the organisers for setting up the camp at remote areas in the Santhal Pargana, Das stressed upon nutritious food for pregnant women, as only a healthy mother could give birth to a healthy child, an official release said.

Jharkhand Health minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi gave details on the development works and appreciated the Chief Minister for his commitment for development.

Dr Bharat Kashyap, president of the women's wing (IMA-Jharkhand), detailed about cervical cancer and anaemia.

Several renowned doctors, including cancer specialist Ranjit Mandal and his team from Kolkata, made the programme a success.
