The Jharkhand Government is united and is taking all major decisions in consensus, claimed Jharkhand Parliamentary Affair minister Saryu Roy denying any difference within the government.

Responding to queries on his reported differences with Chief Minister Raghuvar Das on specific issues, Roy said the allegation was "false and baseless."

Addressing a press conference here, the minister said for the first time Jharkhand has a majority government in power and people of the state have high expectation from it.

"The baseless reports will only hamper the development work being carried out by the government in consensus," he said.

"No difference had ever cropped up in regarding with any decision taken on crucial issues as the cabinet stood like a rock," Roy stressed.

Referring to the meeting of party workers of his West Jamshedpur constituency here on Sunday, Roy said he had asked party workers to ensure that government schemes were implemented in a proper manner.

The minister said the delivery system of the state was weak and the present government has framed over one and half dozen rules to strengthen the system.

We are delivering sincerely to the expectation of the people, he said expressing confidence that the development would be visible soon.
