Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghubar Das today remembered the sacrifices made by the soldiers on the Armed Forces Flag Day.
Donating to the Sainik Kalyan Kosh (fund for the welfare of survivors of martyrs, sick and disabled personnel), Murmu made an appeal to the people of Jharkhand to generously contribute to the fund, an official release said here.
The chief minister paid tributes to the martyrs on the occasion and said "it is our duty" to support the welfare of the families of martyrs and disabled personnel, who fought against terrorism and defended the country.
