In all 36,000 lawyers across courts in the Jharkhand, including 4,000 advocates of the Jharkhand High Court today struck work in protest against the murder of an advocate in Allahabad.
Chairman of Jharkhand Bar Council (JBC) Rajiv Ranjan said the lawyers would also stay away from courts on March 16 following the call given by the Bar Council of India.
Condemning the murder of the advocate, the JBC condoled his death.
