The RJD today said the party was committed to support the JMM-led government in Jharkhand till the end of its term.

"The Hemant Soren-led government will complete its term and the RJD will fully back it," RJD minister Annapurna Devi told reporters here.

Devi, who expressed happiness at the smooth sailing of the government in the floor test, was one of the two ministers, who had sworn-in along with Chief Minister Hemant Soren on July 13.

The other minister in the cabinet, Rajendra Prasad Singh of Congress said the new government would work for all round development of the state.

Congress MP Subodh Kant Sahay said the victory of the Hemant Soren-led government in the floor test has heralded a new dawn for Jharkhand, ending the BJP's "misrule".

"The day when the alliance decided to form the government, a vow was taken by all the members of the alliance to end the BJP's misrule. And today's win in the floor test is the result of that vow," Sahay said.

Developmental projects which had got derailed during the BJP regime would be back on track, he said.

After allying with the BJP twice in this house, the JMM has formed the government with the support of Congress, RJD, Independents and other one-MLA parties.
