J Kumar Infraprojects reported 21 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 23.89 crore for the third quarter ended December 31 on higher income.
It had reported Rs 19.70 crore net profit in the October- December quarter of 2013-14 fiscal, the Mumbai-based firm said in an exchange filing.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 303.43 crore from Rs 272.75 crore a year earlier. Total expenses also rose to Rs 256.20 crore from Rs 231.26 crore a year earlier.

In a separate filing, the company said it has received two orders worth Rs 353 crore for construction of bridges in Ahmedabad and Navi Mumbai.
J Kumar Infraprojects said it has got the letter of acceptance of elevated viaduct worth Rs 278.11 crore from Metrolink Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The other order is for the construction of pre-cast arch bridges for connectivity of coastal road in Navi Mumbai for Rs 75.29 crore from City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), Maharashtra.
