Senior IAS officer Jai Priye Prakash has been appointed as Additional Secretary in Department of Personnel and Training.
Prakash, a 1982 batch officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, is currently serving in his parent cadre, a press release said here today.
The vacancy had come up following appointment of S K Sarkar, a 1979 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre, as Secretary in Water Resources Ministry, the release said.
