After living in the lap of luxury in Neverland, Bubbles the Chimp is living "in retirement" at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida, three years after Jackson's sudden death from drug overdose, according to the National Enquirer.

"Bubbles was not provided for in Michael Jackson's will," Patti Ragan, founder of the Center said.

The 'Thriller' singer's children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, were once the chimp's playmates, but they have never even been to visit their former pal at his new home or help with his USD 20,000 a year keep, an insider said. "The Jackson family has turned their back on Bubbles."

Jackson kept a menagerie at his 2,600-acre Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara, California, but facing crippling financial woes was forced to give them away.
