Jagan seeks PM's appointment to apprise him about deluge loss

Would lead a delegation of party MPs and MLAs to the Prime Minister

YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today sought an appointment with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to apprise him about the losses suffered by the people of Andhra Pradesh, particularly farmers, in the recent heavy rains and floods.

Jagan would lead a delegation of party MPs and MLAs to the Prime Minister, the YSRCP said in a release here today.

The YSRCP President has also sought an appointment with President Pranab Mukherjee during the latter's scheduled visit to Hyderabad in the first week of November, it said.

Over 50 people were killed and crops in over 11 lakh hectares suffered damages in the heavy rains that lashed several districts of AP for about a week ending Tuesday.
