Jagdatt Kori will be the BSP candidate from Jagdishpur (reserved) Assembly segment for 2017 elections, former minister and senior party leader Lalji Verma today announced.

Speaking at a rally, Verma launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party-led state government, saying that "law and order has gone to dustbin and people are living in fearful conditions due to gunda-raj in the state".

The BSP leader explained how SP, BJP and Congress are trying jointly to "check the development of the state".

He also said that "only BSP will fight such unlawful conditions" and announced that Jagdatt Kori will be the BSP candidate from the constituency.
