Expelled Congress leaders Jagmeet Singh Brar and Bir Devinder Singh today resolved to join hands against the party's president, Amarinder Singh and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.

Brar met Singh at the latter's residence here, and also invited him to his May 21 rally to be held at Chaparcheeri in Mohali.

Singh has called a meeting of his supporters on May 15 to finalise it.

Later, both criticised Amarinder as well as Badal and his son Sukhbir.

They also criticised Amarinder's trip to the US and Canada, saying it would only dent his image and would not benefit Congress in Punjab.

Amarinder committed a "diplomatic mistake" and bypassed diplomatic channels by writing directly to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over his cancelled public meetings, Singh said.
