"Ramai Dongo, who was lodged in the prison from May 25, 2011 in a rape case, was knifed to death around 10 am by another prisoner," Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh told reporters here.
He said the police were investigating how the killer possessed a knife barely a fortnight after a search operation did not find any weapon in the jail premises.
