BSP MLA B L Kushwaha, lodged in a prison here in connection with a murder case, was today hospitalised after he complained of chest pain.
Kushwaha, who has been under judicial custody for several months, complained of chest pain. He was admitted to the district hospital where doctors examined him and later discharged, police said.
The MLA was sent back to jail in the evening, police said.
Kushwaha is an accused in the murder of one Naresh, hailing from his Dholpur constituency, in 2012.
