The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Siyaram Singh lodged the FIR against jailer Bhim Hembrum, assistant jailers Ajay Pratap Singh and Ashok Singh, besides constable Jitendra Kumar and homeguard jawan Sunil Kumar Yadav on charge of taking money from the visitors for meeting their jailed kin, the sources said.
A detailed report has been submitted to the IG (jail) for necessary action in this regard, they said.
The FIR against the jailer and four others were lodged a day after Yadav was arrested for taking money from the visitors to allow them meet their kin lodged in the division jail.
A sum of Rs.180 and visitors list were recovered from Yadav's possession.
