The makers of Jaipur Foot, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samity (BMVSS), will gift 300 artificial limbs to Bangladesh government's National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic (NITRO).

The Samiti, which is currently conducting an artificial limb fitment camp at NITRO Limb Centre in Dhaka, would gift the artificial limbs to enable the NITRO restart its operations.

"BMVSS is keen to ensure that the rehabilitation centre at NITRO should restart functioning for which the artificial limbs were gifted to them," a release from the Samiti said here.

"Jaipur Foot would also continue to support the NITRO by providing 1000 limbs at cost price," former Health Minister of Rajasthan and a patron of the Samiti, A A Khan made the announcement on behalf of the founder and chief patron, D R Mehta.
