Jaipur Open will make its debut on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) with the inaugural edition scheduled to tee off at the Rambagh Golf Club here from September 13 to 16.
PGTI and Rajasthan State Sports Council have jointly launched the Jaipur Open, which carries a prize purse of Rs. 30 lakhs. The Pro-Am event will be played on September 17.
The tournament features some of the top Indian professionals such as Rashid Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan, Udayan Mane and Ashok Kumar, to name a few.

The Jaipur-based professionals in the field are Vishal Singh, Mahesh Yadav, Damodar Kumawat and Yogendra Kumawat.
Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO, PGTI, said, "We thank the Rajasthan State Sports Council and the Rambagh Golf Club for partnering with us in staging the inaugural Jaipur Open.
"The tournament has been conceptualized with the intention of tapping into the huge potential for golf in Rajasthan."
Rambagh Golf Club is a challenging Par 70 championship course with a yardage of 6303. The course is strategically designed on sandy loam soil and has a picturesque location with beautiful surroundings.
