Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will inaugurate the 2-day Economic Editors' Conference on November 10 that would cover government's major policy initiatives and roadmap of various ministries.
Economic and infrastructure ministries, including the ministries of Commerce & Industry, Railways, Road Transport and Highways, Petroleum, and Information Technology as well as Niti Aayog, will participate in the conference.
About 75 Economic Editors from different parts of the country, including Andaman and Nicobar in South, J&K in North, Imphal, Manipur in East and Jodhpur, in the West, will take part in the conference, a finance ministry statement said.

"The main objective of holding the National Economic Editors Conference is to apprise the media persons about the major policy initiatives, achievements and future road map of different participating Departments/Ministries of the Government of India," it added.
The conference will act as an opportunity to the journalists from across the country to have direct interaction with the policy makers including ministers and senior officials of the different economic ministries.
