Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will inaugurate a startup school at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Jalandhar tomorrow.
"Seeing enthusiasm among our students to be established entrepreneurs, we are launching LPU Startup School where our students will be able to incubate and bring into shape their innovative concepts," the university said in a statement.
Startup India is an initiative of the government to promote budding entrepreneurs. Under the initiative, the government extends tax incentives among other benefits.
He will also inaugurate three-day International Day of Peace to be celebrated amid rich cultural diversity of 29 states and 50 plus countries, at the campus, it said.
