Jaitley today visited Mohali, on a private visit, to attend a prayer meeting of his paternal aunt (bua), Pran Piari, who had died here recently.
Jaitley reached the Community Centre around 1.15 pm and spent around an hour with his relatives. He, however, refused to talk to media.

Salil Sagar, son of Pran Piari, who is a former Additional Advocate General of Punjab and at present a senior advocate at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, said his mother had died at the age of 97. She had suffered a stroke two months ago after which she went into coma and died.
Later, Jaitley, who was accompanied by his wife, went to Chandigarh by road to share grief with former BJP MP Satya Pal Jain, whose wife had died on June 21.
