Left-arm spinner Shadab Jakati bagged 4/41 after a fine effort with the bat to help Goa beat Chhattisgarh by eight wickets in the Ranji Trophy group C cricket fixture at Barabati Stadium today.
Having scored a stellar 92 at number eight to hand them a first innings lead, Jakati did the damage with the ball along with fellow left-arm spinner Darshan Misal, who returned career-best figures of 3/24 to lead the rout.
Seven of Chhattisgarh batsmen got out for ducks as their second essay folded for 162 in 67.3 overs to set a paltry 91-run target.
