Actor Jake Johnson said he decided to come on board Alex Kurtzman's "The Mummy" as it was an action-adventure film and featured Tom Cruise.
In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the 39- year-old actor said he was not really aware of the popular horror-adventure film series while growing up.
"There wasn't even a script at the time. I just loved the idea of being in an action-adventure with Tom Cruise. I felt like I was like 10 and I had an awesome coach.
